TJL Solicitors Secures Lexcel Accreditation

March 1, 2012

We recently received recognition from the Law Society for our commitment to client care and best practise.

We are very proud to have received the Lexcel Accreditation, a mark of quality from the Law Society.

Manchester-based TJL Solicitors, which specialises in accident, personal injury and cosmetic surgery negligence cases, has secured the national Law Society’s management quality mark, Lexcel.

The Lexcel accreditation is a sign of TJL Solicitors’ commitment to quality and the firm’s partner Russell Sutton said: “While we are proud to have secured this quality mark, it’s our clients and staff who are the main beneficiaries.

“They can be assured that the practice has their interests at heart and runs efficiently. There is a lot of choice in the legal services market but being Lexcel accredited demonstrates our commitment to client care and best practice.”

TJL Solicitors, based on Talbot Road, Old Trafford, became the first law firm in the country to establish a practice specialising in cosmetic surgery negligence.

Since then it has supported hundreds of men and women across the country who have suffered physical and psychological injuries after having botched treatment.

The firm has become a leading commentator on issues relating to cosmetic surgery and has successfully pursued legal claims that have resulted in clients collectively being paid over £1 million of recompense for their injuries.

Lexcel is an optional, recognised accreditation scheme for law firms and in-house legal departments which gives assurance that a practice meets high client care and business management standards.

To gain and retain accreditation, practices must undergo a rigorous initial, then annual, application and assessment process.

John Wotton, president of the Law Society of England and Wales, said: “Achieving Lexcel accreditation proves a serious commitment to the continual development of the practice’s management standards.

“Lexcel acts as a beacon of quality to clients and potential clients alike.”
