Michael underwent laser eye surgery which went wrong, resulting in a number of vision problems and psychological injuries.
We successfully represented Michael following laser eye surgery (Lasik)
It was our case that Michaels surgery was negligent as irregular flaps were created in the eyes which led to abnormal vision with blurring and glare. This in turn caused Michael psychological injury with anxiety and depression and it affected his capacity to work.
We recovered £95,000 in damages for Michael which represented recompense for his physical and psychological injuries, the cost of complex corrective surgery and substantial loss of earnings.
